To rent the Lodge, please contact Mary Lou

The Lodge phone number is 630-628-0840. The phone will only be answered if someone is in the Lodge (i.e. for a party). The phone does not allow outgoing long distance calls.

Tennis Courts

Only tennis is allowed on the two tennis courts. Roller skating or any related activity is not allowed on the tennis courts. The tennis courts will be removed, as a cost-cutting measure

Playground

The playground area with swings, jungle gym and more is not supervised and the equipment should be used at your own risk. A playground committee has been formed and is raising money for new playground equipment.

Volleyball Nets, Pond and Park Area

The volleyball nets are available on a first come, first served basis. There is also a pond and park area. These areas are not supervised. Members are advised to supervise children playing near the pond.

Joggers, Walkers and Bikers

For joggers, walkers and bikers: the distance around Friars Cove in the "figure 8" pattern is approximately one mile.

Parking

There are parking lots on the southwest and north sides of the Lodge. Park in the north lot to get to the only stairs with a handrail (located at the northeast corner of the Lodge). Overflow parking is on the streets (note the exceptions below.)

No parking in the Lodge parking lots except during Lodge functions or during pool hours or you will be subject to towing. If possible, park in the north parking lot. The southwest parking lot, when not filled with cars, is for basketball.

No parking on Friars Cove streets on weekdays from 8:00am to 3:00pm when school is in session. You will be ticketed.

No parking is allowed on any street in the village of Addison from 2:00am to 5:00am.

No parking is allowed on any street in the village of Addison after 4 or more inches of snow has fallen until the snow removal procedures are concluded. (Obviously, the pool is out of season then.)
